Most problems with a speaking assessment come down to microphone permissions.
Allow microphone access. Your browser will ask for permission when the test starts. If you dismissed that prompt, look for a small camera or microphone icon in the address bar and set it to allow, then reload the page.
Choose the right microphone. If you have more than one — a headset plus a built-in mic, for example — the test lets you pick. Select the one you are actually speaking into.
Close other apps using the mic. Video call apps often hold onto the microphone. Quit them fully and reload.
Try a different browser. A recent version of Chrome, Edge, or Safari works best.
"This assessment has expired." Invitation links are valid for a limited time. Ask the company that invited you to send a new one.
"Already completed." Each link works once. If you believe this is wrong, contact the company that invited you.
"Temporarily unavailable." This is an issue on the account that invited you, not on your device. Let them know and they can resolve it.
Reopen your original link. You will return to where you were, and you will not be charged an extra attempt. Answers already submitted are saved.
Not on the same link, and individual answers cannot be re-recorded. This keeps conditions identical for everyone. If something went genuinely wrong — a broken microphone, a power cut — contact the company that invited you and ask for a new invitation.

Evalingo cannot issue you a new link directly. Assessments belong to the organization that invited you, so they are the right people to ask.
